"Permaculture for better future"
As after COVID many of us have faced losses and learned something new that we must understand our basic needs of life and importance of sustainability.
CAPITALISM is taking over the world, Corruption killed system, Banks are not guaranteed to return your savings. Global hunger, Shortage of food supplies and Jobs, side effects of Government scientific experiments, chemical fertilizers /pesticide and Industrial food products are being responsible for increasing number of diseases. Effects of Climate change and global warming on our everyday life list goes on....
In such a scenario how can we survive ourselves and protect our families, our beloved, our neighbors? There are many questions.
At the same time many of us have awakened to the fact that we need to do something to turn the state of affairs around to doing the right thing the right way. And, this change is quite evident. People have started moving towards organic food and eco-friendly life. But we do need Food security, Shelter security, Healthcare security. We need a sustainable system for such an approach. There comes permaculture as an answer for many questions.
To create a sustainable system we must follow permaculture Ethics and Principles. That will create a safe and secure environment for us. Permaculture Food forest. It is actually feasible! Yes, everyone has a different reason for living permaculture and even different extremities at which they live it.
Either way, most of the acts are the same. Working in harmony with nature rather than against.
What is Permaculture System?
Permaculture can be understood as the growth of agricultural ecosystems in a self-sufficient and sustainable way. This form of agriculture draws inspiration from nature to develop synergetic farming systems based on crop diversity, resilience, natural productivity, and sustainability.
Permaculture has these three ethics at its core:
- Earth care
- People care
- Fair shar
Why Permaculture System?
Once the principles of permaculture are implemented, self-sustaining systems are created that require less work. This occurs because the natural flow of nature in these systems removes the need for intensive agricultural practice resulting in lesser use of energy.
As permaculture involves offering solutions for soil fertility, water conservation, climate change mitigation, and animal habitat, it helps in maximizing biodiversity and preserving wildlife by creating more habitat for animal species.
Permaculture involves the growing of diverse mixtures of perennial and annual plants that provide food for one another. This helps in removing the need for pesticides, herbicides, and chemical fertilizers resulting in increased soil health.
Permaculture works well when one needs to create a small space with an intensive output. It thus helps in saving space.
Other benefits include better health outcomes, prevention of water shortage, pollution mitigation, reduction of risks to farmers due to the absence of reliance on monoculture etc.
